Brooks Brothers archived materials gathered from 185 years of business — original accounting books, maps, photographs, booklets, paraphernalia — were thoughtfully woven with a written history of the company. Anecdotes of the label’s ties to figures in American political and pop-culture history (worn by Abraham Lincoln, Fred Astaire, Andy Warhol, for example) are thoughtfully presented. Italian Loro Piana pinstripe wool was used as cloth for bookbinding and signature Brooks Brothers ribbon sewn in as a place marker.
